Ok, so June was an exhibition time - it all started with a degree show at Kingston University and group-show with my course-mates at LBI (Lost Boys International) in London. Here are some images from the LBI show:

Thank you to my boyfriend, Yar Rassadin, for taking these pictures during the opening night :) |

My work at LBI - 4 'How to Play Statistics' posters, 2 book covers that you could actually open and see end-papers, and 4 images from my 'Diary of a Box' series. You can see them in proper quality at www.kata-illustration.com. | |

Private show at LBI - a lot of people, a lot of wine, a lot of fun. |
At the same time when i was preparing for this show, a person called Ytje Veenstra contacted me from the Netherlands and ask me if i agreed to participate in bi-annual event at a art-space called Nieuwe Vide, at the edge of the heart of Haarlem. The event was a part of a “Comic Days Haarlem”, and this year the theme was 'Eastern Europe'. I was glad to accept an invitation from Ytje, and so the event happened in June. I am very proud to be able to say that my work was in the same show as Zsolt Vidak's work, but I am still sad i couldn't come to see the exhibition, but these are the photos I've got from Ytje:

And finally at the same time as I got an e-mail from Ytje, my tutor Tim Simmons from
BHSAD in Moscow, where I've spent student-exchange year in 2008-2009, contacted me and asked if i would agree to participate in end-year show there as one of ex-students of the school. I was glad to agree. I didnt get any proper photos from organizers, so i am using the only one that i found online with glimpse of my How to Play Statistics posters in the corner..
So this is it - all shows are over now, and its nice to remember crazy month of June, full of printing, sending files, making professional portfolio, etc etc. It was a nice way to graduate from Uni and start a freelancers career.
