Oi folks!

First of all, I'm so sorry I didn't update my blog for more than half a year. Somehow I didn't find time once, then tons of thoughts and drafts piled up, and it seemed too much to post at once, and then I went to travel across Europe, and then I came back to find tons of assignments in editorial illustration, as well as the upcoming Christmas season at my own Kata Kiosk.

So instead of trying to write everything about eventful last ~8 months, I thought I'd better just move on with writing about what's happening now. And so, a lot is happening. Next to tons of updates in editorial illustration (at www.kata-illustration.com), I've launched new series at my small business slash hobby slash experimental laboratory - Kata Kiosk Etsy shop.

New series of 10 illustrations (available as Art Prints and Postcards) inspired by decorative folk / ethnical / cultural / crafty / vintage heritage of my native Lithuania mixed up with contemporary everyday little moments and elements, such as ice cream popsicle or hipster bike. I hope you will remember these in case you'll be looking for some whimsical home decor or a gift for someone with appreciation for conceptual-decorative illustration.
