All jokes about Alina's voice {sounding like a screaming cat on a roof} aside, this is an interesting try by Alina Orlva feat. SunSay singing in Lithuanian-Russian-English all at once :))) does it work?
PUSHKIN vs BULGAKOV!
As my head hurts more and more from my efforts to read Russian classics IN RUSSIAN, I swtiched from Bulgakovs 'Dogs Heart' to A.S.Pushkin's 'The Captain's Daughter', "an ideal novel", as I was told a week ago by Russian literature professor whom I met in Ulyanovsk. He told me to leave Bulgakov and go straight to Pushkin, and to be honest, I don't think I have an argument against that, as I understood that dog is a story-teller only in the 9th page of Bulgakovs 'Dogs Heart'..
So one of my dreams is coming true - I'm reading A.S.Pushkin ir Russian. Enjoying every word of it. One of those rare cases when I purposely read slowly just to safe few pages for the next day.
